AuditTrailr is a web app (with optional desktop connector) for small-to-mid businesses and accounting firms that need to survive tax audits without weeks of chaos. It ingests bank feeds, GL exports, invoices, payroll reports, and receipts, then builds an “audit evidence pack” mapped to common audit requests (income reconciliation, expense substantiation, payroll tax support, sales tax nexus support). It flags missing documents, duplicate vendors, round-dollar anomalies, and suspicious timing patterns, and produces a clean, shareable index with immutable timestamps. It does not promise to “beat the IRS”—it helps you respond accurately and quickly. The product lives or dies on integrations and trust: SOC2-ready controls, role-based access, and a clear chain-of-custody for every file. The MVP focuses on a narrow set of audit request templates and a few high-demand integrations, not every jurisdiction on earth.
