AuthTrace is a mobile + web AI-assisted authentication and condition-check app for luxury leather goods and handbags, built for resale buyers, consignors, and boutique staff. Users capture a guided photo set (stitching, glazing, hardware engravings, heat stamps, serial/date codes, lining, edge paint) and receive a risk-scored report: likely authentic, inconclusive, or high-risk, plus a condition grade and estimated repair impact on value. The app also generates a shareable “pre-listing packet” with standardized photos, defect callouts, and disclosure language to reduce returns and chargebacks. It’s not a magic authenticity oracle: it clearly flags when human review is needed and can route to paid expert verification partners. Over time, it builds a private item history (photos, ownership, repairs) that helps sellers justify price and helps buyers avoid obvious fakes and undisclosed damage.
