AutoAuster

AutoAuster is a mobile + web app that flips your finances into “emergency mode” when risk spikes. It connects to your bank accounts and bills, forecasts your cash runway, and recommends a realistic cut plan (subscriptions, discretionary categories, and negotiable bills). The app can optionally execute changes: cancel subscriptions, set card spending caps, pause nonessential transfers, and schedule bill negotiations with templated scripts and reminders. It also builds a simple emergency checklist tied to money actions (e.g., “reduce variable spend to $X/week,” “sell item Y,” “apply for hardship plan”). This is not a feel-good budgeting app: it’s a triage tool for layoffs, medical shocks, or sudden income drops. Users get a weekly “runway report,” a prioritized action queue, and a clear target date for stabilizing cash flow.
