AutoCaption QA
AutoCaption QA is a web + mobile companion that audits short-form video captions and on-screen text for accuracy, timing, readability, and brand safety before you post. Creators increasingly rely on auto-captions, but errors (names, slang, product claims, profanity, medical/financial statements) can trigger backlash, demonetization, or sponsor issues. Users upload a video or paste an SRT; the app generates a “caption risk report” with flagged words, likely mishears, sensitive claims, and suggested rewrites that preserve tone. It also checks formatting: max characters per line, reading speed, line breaks, and whether key words are obscured by platform UI (e.g., TikTok buttons). The app outputs a corrected SRT plus platform-specific safe-area preview frames. It’s an AI app + traditional app: AI handles transcription comparison, semantic risk detection, and rewrite suggestions; the traditional layer manages workflows, templates, and exports. This is not glamorous, but it’s a practical quality-control tool that saves creators from avoidable embarrassment and revenue loss. Monetization: subscription per seat, with higher tiers for teams/agencies and bulk processing.
