AutoStash

AutoStash is a mobile + web app that automates “pay-yourself-first” saving without relying on vague rules or guilt. Users connect their bank via Plaid, set a minimum safe balance, and choose goals (emergency fund, rent buffer, debt payoff). The app monitors incoming paychecks and recurring bills, then schedules transfers to a high-yield savings account or sub-accounts right after payday—only when it’s safe. If cash flow tightens, AutoStash pauses or reduces transfers and explains why in plain language. It also provides a simple “next 14 days” cash runway view so users understand what they can spend without sabotaging savings. This is a traditional app with light AI: an AI assistant summarizes cash-flow risks, suggests safer transfer amounts, and drafts a weekly plan users can accept or ignore. The focus is reliability and trust, not flashy budgeting charts.
