BackflowPro

BackflowPro is a web + mobile app for water utilities and certified backflow testers to manage cross-connection control programs end-to-end. It tracks devices (RPZ, DCVA, PVB), locations, owners, test history, and annual testing schedules, then automates notices (mail-merge PDFs, email, SMS) and compliance status. Testers can complete field forms on mobile, capture photos/serials, collect signatures, and submit results directly to the utility portal. The utility side provides dashboards for compliance rates by zone, overdue lists, and simple exports for audits. This is not a “smart sensor” pitch—most programs still run on spreadsheets and paper, and the pain is administrative: missed deadlines, inconsistent records, and slow follow-up. Pricing is per utility or per tester company, with optional per-notice postage integrations and role-based access for inspectors and admin staff.
