BackorderIQ is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps small and mid-sized merchants reduce late shipments caused by stockouts and supplier delays. It connects to your order system and inventory sources, then flags orders at risk of missing SLA based on real-time inventory, inbound POs, supplier lead times, and carrier cutoff times. The app auto-splits orders when it’s cheaper/faster, recommends substitutions or partial-ship policies, and generates customer-ready delay messages for support teams. It also gives operations a daily “save list” of the top 20 orders to intervene on, with the exact action needed (expedite PO, swap warehouse, change ship method, or cancel risky items). This is not a magic autopilot—data quality will be messy—so it includes simple reconciliation tools and clear confidence scores to avoid bad automation.
