BadgeProof

BadgeProof is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps employers, recruiters, and training providers verify certifications and credentials quickly and consistently. Instead of trusting screenshots and PDFs, users forward a candidate’s credential link or upload a document; BadgeProof attempts primary-source verification via issuer APIs, public registries, email-domain validation, and structured evidence requests. It produces a simple “Verified / Partially Verified / Unverified” report with an audit trail, timestamps, and what evidence was checked. For issuers, it offers a minimal portal to publish verification endpoints or signed credential files without rebuilding their whole system. This is a traditional app with targeted AI: AI is used only to extract fields from messy PDFs/images and to match issuer names/credential IDs to known registries—no “AI guessing” on authenticity. The goal is reducing time-to-verify and lowering hiring risk, not creating another credential wallet.
