BailBeacon

BailBeacon is a mobile + web app that helps people on bail, probation, or pretrial release actually comply with court requirements. Users get a plain-language “what to do next” checklist pulled from their case details: court dates, check-ins, fees, classes, and document uploads. The app sends escalating reminders (SMS/push), provides one-tap navigation to courthouses/providers, and generates a compliance timeline that can be shared with a public defender or case manager. It also includes a lightweight “proof of compliance” vault for receipts, attendance certificates, and screenshots, reducing disputes about whether someone complied. This is not a magic legal advice tool; it’s a logistics and documentation system designed to reduce failures-to-appear, which are often driven by confusion, transportation issues, and chaotic life circumstances. Agencies can optionally sponsor access for clients, but the product must work for individuals first.
