BailBridge

BailBridge is a mobile + web app that helps families and community bail funds coordinate the messy, time-sensitive steps after an arrest: verifying custody location, tracking bail amount changes, collecting funds, arranging pickup, and ensuring the person makes court. It provides a shared case timeline, checklists, and automated reminders for court dates and required check-ins. For nonprofits, it offers lightweight case management and reporting without the overhead of enterprise systems. It’s not a magic wand: jail data is inconsistent, and some jurisdictions are hostile to transparency. The app focuses on what can be controlled—coordination, documentation, and communication—so fewer people stay detained simply because information and logistics fall apart. Monetization is realistic: SaaS pricing for bail funds and legal aid orgs, with optional transaction fees for payments where permitted.
