BallotBuddy is a mobile + web app that helps eligible voters actually follow through by turning “I’ll vote” into a concrete, calendar-backed plan. Users enter their address to get official election dates, polling place or vote-center info, ID requirements, and a step-by-step checklist for their state. The app focuses on execution: deadline alerts, a 2-minute “make a plan” flow (when, where, how you’ll get there), and a lightweight accountability feature that lets you share your plan with one trusted friend. It avoids partisan content and doesn’t try to persuade—just reduces friction and confusion that cause drop-off. It also includes an accessibility mode (large text, language options) and a “what to bring” card for election day. Realistically, growth depends on partnerships with campuses, employers, and civic orgs, not app-store discovery.
