BankProof is a web app (with a lightweight mobile flow) that lets consumers generate time-limited, bank-verified “proof packets” for income, balance, and recurring bills using open banking connections. Instead of emailing PDFs or screenshots, users connect their bank via an aggregator, choose what to share (e.g., last 3 pay deposits, average balance, rent payments), and issue a signed, expiring link to a landlord, lender, or insurer. Recipients get a standardized report with verification metadata, tamper-evident hashes, and clear consent scope. The product focuses on a narrow, high-frequency workflow: rental applications and small-loan underwriting. It avoids trying to be a full personal finance app. Revenue comes from B2B verification fees (per report) and SaaS plans for property managers and brokers.
