BarnPulse

BarnPulse is a mobile + web app that helps farms and integrators detect animal-welfare problems early using simple daily checklists plus optional sensor/video inputs. Staff log quick observations (lameness, lesions, mortality, water/feed access, behavior) in under 60 seconds per pen/house. The system flags abnormal trends (e.g., rising lameness in one barn, heat stress risk) and generates action tasks with deadlines and photo evidence. For operations that already have cameras or environmental sensors, BarnPulse can ingest data and run anomaly detection to surface “quiet failures” that humans miss—like ventilation drift or overcrowding patterns. It also produces audit-ready reports mapped to common welfare frameworks, but it’s designed for day-to-day prevention, not paperwork. Realistically, it won’t replace veterinarians or guarantee compliance; it reduces blind spots and creates consistent documentation when staff turnover is high.
