BarracksFix is a web + mobile app for military installations to capture, prioritize, and resolve barracks and base-life maintenance issues (HVAC failures, mold, plumbing, safety hazards) with an auditable workflow. Service members submit geo-tagged reports with photos, severity, and impact (health/safety/mission). The system routes tickets to the right shop or contractor, enforces SLAs, and escalates automatically when deadlines slip. Leaders get dashboards showing repeat offenders, aging tickets, and cost-to-fix trends, while inspectors can export compliance-ready reports. This is not glamorous, but it’s where trust and readiness erode: unresolved living-condition problems drive attrition, medical issues, and bad press. The app focuses on speed, accountability, and evidence—without requiring users to navigate legacy helpdesks or email chains. It can run on a secured network with role-based access and full audit logs.
