BatchBeacon

BatchBeacon is a mobile + web app for small and mid-sized food producers to track ingredient lots from receiving to finished goods, and to generate recall-ready reports in minutes. Users scan supplier barcodes/QRs (or create their own), assign lots to production runs, and link finished product batches to shipments and customers. When a supplier issue hits, BatchBeacon can instantly show which SKUs, dates, and customers are impacted, and export a regulator-friendly trace report (PDF/CSV). It’s not trying to be a full ERP; it’s a lightweight traceability layer that sits on top of spreadsheets and basic inventory tools. Optional AI helps normalize messy supplier documents (COAs, invoices) into structured lot data and flags missing trace fields before they become audit problems. This targets FSMA 204-style recordkeeping needs without the cost and implementation pain of big systems.
