BatchBeacon

BatchBeacon is a web + mobile app for small-scale manufacturers who run many tiny jobs and constantly lose time to “where are we on this order?” chaos. It provides a lightweight batch traveler: create a job, define steps (cut, print, assemble, QC, pack), assign to a person or station, and scan a QR code to move it forward. The app tracks WIP, bottlenecks, and due-date risk without forcing full ERP complexity. An AI layer can auto-suggest step templates from a product description, flag unrealistic lead times based on past throughput, and summarize daily standups (“3 batches blocked at QC waiting on parts”). It’s designed for shops that live in spreadsheets and whiteboards but need just enough structure to ship on time and reduce rework.
