BatchBids is a web + mobile marketplace for small retailers and DTC brands to sell overstock, returns, and shelf-pull inventory in standardized “lots” to vetted resellers. Instead of listing thousands of SKUs one-by-one, sellers upload a manifest (CSV or Shopify export), the app auto-cleans it, estimates recovery value, and recommends lot groupings (by category, condition, MSRP bands). Buyers browse lots, place sealed bids, and arrange freight through integrated shipping. The platform focuses on trust: mandatory condition grading, photo evidence requirements, dispute workflow, and buyer/seller verification (business docs + payment verification). Monetization is straightforward: transaction fee + optional “fast payout” fee. This is not a glamorous consumer marketplace; it’s a B2B cashflow tool.
