BatchBuddy
BatchBuddy is a mobile + web app (traditional app with light AI) that helps families build “two-meal” plans from overlapping ingredients and prep steps. Instead of generating fancy recipes, it focuses on realistic weeknight execution: what to chop once, what to roast together, and how to repurpose leftovers into a second dinner without feeling like repeats. You pick household constraints (time, picky eaters, budget, dietary limits), then choose from simple meal pairs (e.g., sheet-pan chicken night one, chicken tacos night two). It produces a short prep list, a grocery list that consolidates quantities, and a timed cook flow for each night. It also tracks what’s actually left after dinner (quick slider inputs) so the second meal adjusts portions. The goal is fewer decisions, fewer dishes, and less food waste—without pretending every family will meal-prep perfectly.
