BatchBudget

BatchBudget is a mobile + web app that helps households cook 2–3 big batches per week and turn them into multiple low-effort meals, while keeping grocery spending predictable. Users set a weekly budget, dietary constraints, and household size, then pick from a small library of repeatable “batch bases” (e.g., chili, roasted veg tray, shredded chicken, lentils) that intentionally reuse overlapping ingredients. The app generates a tight shopping list, suggests a 90-minute prep session, and provides a simple “remix” menu for the next few days so leftovers don’t feel like repeats. It also tracks actual spend by importing receipts (email or photo) and shows where budget drift happens (snacks, impulse items, premium swaps). This is an AI + traditional app: AI helps adapt recipes to constraints and local prices, but the core value is the structured batch system and budgeting feedback loop.
