BatchLedger
BatchLedger is a mobile app (with optional web dashboard) for people who batch cook but lose track of what’s in the fridge/freezer. Instead of trying to “generate recipes,” it focuses on the unsexy part that actually fails: labeling, portions, dates, and location. You log a cooked batch once, then split it into portions with a tap (e.g., 6 servings: 2 fridge, 4 freezer). The app reminds you before items expire, suggests a realistic “eat order” for the next few days, and builds a simple plan that fits your schedule (reheat nights vs. cook nights). It supports quick entry via barcode/label scan and templates for your common meals. It also produces a weekly waste report so users can see what they consistently overcook. Monetization: freemium with reminders, templates, and household sharing in Pro.
