BatchLedger is a web app (with optional mobile scanning) for beverage brands to run lightweight, end-to-end lot traceability without buying an enterprise ERP. It links ingredients, co-packer production runs, packaging, and outbound shipments into a single lot genealogy so you can answer: “Which customers received lot X?” in minutes, not days. The MVP focuses on practical workflows: upload invoices/COAs, create production batches, assign lot codes, and scan pallets/cases at ship time. It generates recall-ready reports, audit trails, and compliance exports (FSMA-style documentation) that brands can share with distributors, retailers, and co-packers. It’s not a full manufacturing suite; it’s a focused traceability layer that integrates with whatever accounting/warehouse tools the brand already uses. AI is used to extract lot numbers and key fields from PDFs and emails to reduce manual data entry.
