BatchProof helps shoppers and resellers reduce the risk of buying counterfeit prestige fragrances by combining barcode/batch-code parsing, packaging photo checks, and seller reputation signals. Users scan a UPC/EAN and enter or scan the batch code; the app cross-references known manufacturer code formats, release windows, and regional distributions, then asks for a few guided photos (cellophane seams, atomizer, box fonts, label alignment). An AI model flags inconsistencies and returns a clear risk score with the exact reasons, not vague “authentic” claims. It also stores a “proof pack” you can share with buyers: scan logs, photos, and a timestamped report. This won’t magically guarantee authenticity—brands don’t publish full verification APIs—but it can meaningfully reduce obvious fakes and improve buyer confidence in secondary markets.
