BatchProof

BatchProof is a web + mobile app for small and mid-sized food manufacturers to maintain audit-ready lot traceability without buying a full ERP. It captures inbound ingredients (supplier, COA, lot, expiry), links them to production batches, and tracks finished goods lots through packaging and shipments. When a supplier issue hits, it generates a recall impact report in minutes: affected SKUs, customers, quantities, dates, and supporting documentation. The app includes simple barcode/QR scanning, role-based approvals, and a “missing data” dashboard that flags gaps before audits. An AI assistant helps map messy supplier PDFs (COAs, spec sheets) into structured fields and suggests likely matches to existing ingredients/lots, but the system remains usable without AI. This is not glamorous software; it’s operational plumbing that reduces real financial risk.
