BatchProof

BatchProof is a mobile + web AI-assisted verification app for luxury skincare, fragrance, and makeup. Users scan barcodes/QR codes, batch/lot codes, and packaging details, then the app cross-checks known manufacturer formats, expiry logic, and retailer provenance signals. It also flags common counterfeit patterns (mismatched fonts, invalid lot structures, suspicious seller history) using computer vision on a few guided photos. For resale purchases, BatchProof generates a shareable “verification packet” (scan results, photos, timestamps, seller info, and risk score) that buyers can review before paying. The app is realistic about limits: it won’t claim “100% authentic,” but it will reduce obvious fakes and risky listings. Monetization: subscription for frequent buyers/resellers, plus per-verification credits for occasional users, and optional integrations for boutique resellers to add trust badges on listings.
