BatchTrace

BatchTrace is a web + mobile app for insect farms that need credible, audit-ready traceability without buying an expensive ERP. It tracks each production batch from substrate intake to harvest, processing, packaging, and shipment, generating a simple “one-click” trace report for customers, auditors, and internal QA. Operators scan QR codes on bins, racks, and lots to log key events (feedstock source, temperature checks, mortality notes, cleaning cycles, test results, and yields). The system flags missing records, inconsistent weights, and risky inputs (e.g., unapproved substrates) before they become costly compliance failures. Exports include customer-facing COAs, lot genealogy, and recall lists. This is not a magic AI farm optimizer; it’s a practical recordkeeping and trace tool that reduces paperwork, reduces recall risk, and makes selling to larger buyers less painful.
