BaySlot

BaySlot is a web + mobile app for commercial space operators (ports, marinas, private terminals) to manage short-term berth/yard/laydown rentals with real pricing and compliance checks. Instead of endless emails and phone calls, operators publish availability windows, constraints (draft, LOA, crane access, hazardous cargo rules), and pricing rules. Customers request a slot, upload required documents, and pay deposits. The system auto-generates a booking packet (rules, insurance requirements, access instructions) and logs check-in/out with photo evidence and timestamps. It also tracks overstay fees and incident notes to reduce disputes. This is not a “space marketplace fantasy”; it’s a workflow tool that can optionally syndicate listings to partners, but works even if only one facility uses it. The goal is fewer empty berths, fewer admin hours, and fewer payment arguments.
