BaySlot is a web + mobile app for independent auto repair shops that turns service scheduling into a simple, capacity-based system. Instead of booking by “time on the calendar,” shops set bay capacity (lifts, tech hours, specialties) and the app offers only realistic appointment windows based on job type and parts lead times. Customers book online, get automated confirmations, and can reschedule without calling. Shops get a clean daily run sheet, no-show reduction tools (deposits, reminders), and visibility into underutilized gaps. This is not a magic AI mechanic; it’s a practical scheduling product that reduces chaos and missed revenue. The AI component is limited and useful: it classifies customer requests into job templates (brakes, oil, diagnostics) and estimates duration ranges from the shop’s own history, improving over time. Integrations are optional, not required for MVP.
