BeamBench
BeamBench is a desktop + web companion for synchrotron and lab X-ray/neutron scattering users who waste days wrangling detector images, metadata, and half-broken scripts. The MVP focuses on a narrow but painful workflow: ingest raw detector frames (common formats), auto-parse run metadata, run standard reductions (masking, background subtraction, azimuthal integration), and export clean, journal-ready plots with provenance. It’s not trying to replace full analysis suites; it’s a reliable “last mile” reduction and reporting tool that works the same across facilities and instruments. An optional AI layer helps generate reproducible reduction recipes (with explicit parameters, not magic), flags suspicious artifacts (beamstop bleed, hot pixels, saturation), and drafts a methods paragraph with exact settings. Expect slow enterprise-style sales cycles, but strong retention once installed.
