BelongMap

BelongMap is a mobile + web app that helps people find workplaces, clinics, schools, venues, and services where they’re likely to be treated with respect—across culture, disability, gender identity, race, religion, and language needs. Users leave structured, specific reviews (e.g., “gender-neutral restroom available,” “staff used correct pronouns,” “wheelchair access actually works,” “language support offered”) plus short context notes. The app uses light AI to summarize patterns, detect review manipulation, and highlight recurring issues without turning it into a vague “inclusion score.” Businesses can claim profiles, respond, and publish verifiable accessibility/inclusion details (photos, policies, staff training dates). The goal is practical decision support, not corporate virtue signaling. Monetization is realistic: B2B subscriptions for claimed listings and analytics, plus optional premium filters for power users. The hard part is trust and coverage, so the MVP focuses on a few cities and a few high-need categories.
