BenBrief is a web + mobile app (traditional + AI) that turns messy benefits documents into employee-ready summaries and decision guides. HR uploads plan PDFs (medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA, retirement, leave policies) and the app generates: a one-page overview, key costs, what’s covered/not covered, common scenarios, and a glossary of confusing terms. Employees can ask questions in a chat interface grounded only in the company’s uploaded documents, reducing misinformation. HR gets analytics on what people are confused about, plus a “benefits change” workflow to re-upload new plan versions and auto-highlight what changed from last year. This is not a broker replacement; it’s a comprehension layer that makes existing benefits usable. Realistically, success depends on tight guardrails, strong document parsing, and careful legal disclaimers to avoid giving medical/legal advice.
