BenchBrief

BenchBrief is a mobile + web apprenticeship evidence log that turns messy on-the-job learning into auditable proof. Apprentices capture short “job cards” (photo/video, parts used, safety checks, measurements, and outcome) in under two minutes. Supervisors review with one-tap approvals, add quick feedback, and the app auto-maps each job to a competency framework (trade standards, internal skill matrices, or custom rubrics). An AI assistant helps write clear reflections from rough notes, flags missing evidence (e.g., no calibration proof), and suggests the next best tasks to close competency gaps. Export packs (PDF/CSV) are formatted for regulators, training providers, or HR. This is not a learning platform; it’s a lightweight evidence + verification system that reduces admin, prevents end-of-program panic, and makes progression decisions defensible.
