BenchBuddy is a mobile + web AI-assisted vocational training companion that helps apprentices and trainees capture, verify, and present real on-the-job competence. Trainees record short task videos (e.g., wiring a junction box, TIG weld pass, phlebotomy draw), attach checklists, and log tool/material context. Supervisors or instructors review quickly with time-stamped rubrics, comments, and pass/fail criteria. The AI helps by auto-tagging tasks, flagging missing steps, and generating a clean skills transcript aligned to common standards (but it does not “certify” anything). Employers get a shareable, permissioned portfolio link showing verified evidence, not just course completion. This is not another LMS; it’s a practical proof-of-work layer that fits messy job sites and shop floors. Monetization: per-seat for schools/training providers and per-cohort for employers.
