BenchBuddy
BenchBuddy is a desktop app (Windows first) for small PC shops and IT teams that need consistent, repeatable hardware validation without building a messy pile of scripts. It guides technicians through a standardized burn-in and benchmark workflow (CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, thermals), logs sensor data, and produces a shareable “health report” PDF/JSON for customers or internal records. It also flags likely instability patterns (thermal throttling, WHEA errors, memory errors, SMART warnings) and keeps a local history per machine/serial so you can see regressions after repairs or upgrades. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional for deterministic test execution and logging; AI for summarizing logs into plain-English findings and recommended next checks. Realistically, it won’t replace deep diagnostics, but it will save time, reduce technician variance, and make results defensible.
