BenchBuddy is a mobile + web companion for scale model builders that prevents the most common time-wasters: missing parts, forgotten sub-steps, and messy bench organization. Instead of trying to be another social feed, it focuses on a simple workflow: you create a build, import the kit’s instruction PDF/photos, then track each step with checklists, notes, paint references, and “parts used” logging. The killer feature is a quick bench inventory: you can scan a QR label on small bins/baggies to record where you stored tiny parts, decals, and subassemblies. It also supports reminders for drying/curing times and a lightweight progress timeline so you can resume a build weeks later without re-reading the whole manual. It’s not magic—just a practical system that reduces rework and abandoned kits.
