BenchPulse
BenchPulse is a web app (with optional mobile capture) for energy benchmarking that focuses on getting usable comparisons with imperfect data. Users upload utility bills (PDF/CSV) or connect accounts, map meters to spaces, and the app normalizes consumption by weather, operating hours, and floor area. It then benchmarks each site against a curated peer set (same building type, climate zone, size band) and flags “too high to ignore” gaps with confidence scores. Instead of pretending precision, it shows what’s reliable, what’s missing, and what data would most improve the benchmark. Reports are exportable for owners, ESG teams, and auditors, with a simple savings tracker that ties changes to baseline and weather-normalized deltas. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: AI is used mainly for document parsing and anomaly detection, not for hand-wavy recommendations.
