BenchPulse is a mobile + web app that reduces the most common amateur team-sports headache: unreliable attendance and last-minute roster gaps. Players confirm availability with one tap, and the app automatically escalates reminders based on past behavior (without spamming everyone). Captains get a live “game readiness” dashboard showing confirmed count, positional coverage, and risk of falling short. If you’re short, BenchPulse triggers a lightweight standby list and sends targeted pings to the right people (e.g., defenders first), then locks the roster at a set time to stop endless churn. It also tracks chronic no-shows and late cancels so captains can make fair decisions over time. This isn’t a full league-management suite; it’s intentionally narrow, fast, and built for weekly pickup and rec leagues where reliability matters more than fancy stats.
