BenchWatt is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for energy consumption benchmarking across commercial buildings and multi-site portfolios. It ingests utility bills and interval meter data, normalizes for weather and occupancy proxies, and benchmarks each site against a curated peer set (same building type, climate zone, size band, operating hours). The output is a simple scorecard: where you sit vs peers, what “good” looks like, and the top 3 likely drivers of waste (e.g., baseload too high, weekend drift, seasonal inefficiency). It also generates a defensible baseline and tracks improvement after retrofits or operational changes. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional analytics for normalization and scoring, plus AI to auto-classify building types, detect anomalies, and draft audit-ready reports. It’s built for teams who need credible benchmarking without hiring consultants for every portfolio review.
