BenefitBridge
BenefitBridge is a mobile + web app that helps unemployed or underemployed people figure out what safety-net programs they likely qualify for (unemployment, SNAP, Medicaid, rental aid, utility discounts) and then walks them through the actual application steps with state-specific checklists. It does not pretend to “auto-approve” anything; it focuses on reducing confusion, missed deadlines, and incomplete submissions. Users answer a short, plain-language intake, upload key documents once, and get a prioritized to-do list with reminders, required proof, and links to the correct official portals. A lightweight AI assistant explains confusing terms (earnings, weeks claimed, household size) and drafts cover notes or appeal letters, but the app clearly labels that it’s not legal advice. The business model is B2B2C: workforce agencies, nonprofits, unions, and community colleges can sponsor access for their clients, with optional caseworker dashboards.
