BenefitBridge

BenefitBridge is a mobile + web app that helps low-income people discover and actually complete applications for benefits and local assistance (food, rent relief, utilities, childcare, immigration support). Users answer a short intake once; the app matches them to programs, pre-fills forms, and generates a step-by-step checklist with required documents. An AI assistant explains confusing eligibility rules in plain language, flags likely disqualifiers early, and drafts letters (appeals, landlord notices, proof-of-hardship statements). For nonprofits and caseworkers, it provides a lightweight dashboard to manage clients, track application status, and reduce repetitive paperwork. The product is realistic because it doesn’t pretend to “end poverty”; it just cuts the friction that causes eligible people to miss help. Revenue comes from B2B subscriptions for nonprofits/employers/health systems plus optional pay-per-completed-application services funded by partners.
