BetaRoster is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that matches writers with vetted beta readers and critique partners, then manages the entire feedback workflow. Instead of chasing comments across Discords and social feeds, writers create a project brief (genre, length, sensitivity notes, timeline), upload chapters, and assign structured feedback prompts. Readers build credibility through completed reviews, calibrated ratings, and sample critiques, unlocking higher-paying or higher-trust projects. The platform supports paid and swap-based critiques, with escrow, deadlines, and dispute handling to reduce flaking. A built-in rubric (pacing, character, clarity, line-level notes) makes feedback comparable across readers. This is a combination app: traditional product with AI-assisted tools (optional) to summarize feedback themes and flag contradictions, but the value is dependable humans and workflow, not “AI writes your book.”
