BGPBlackbox

BGPBlackbox is a web app (with a lightweight desktop probe) that monitors internet routing health for your prefixes and critical SaaS endpoints. It continuously compares BGP announcements, RPKI validity, and real-world reachability from multiple vantage points, then flags suspicious changes like route leaks, hijack-like origin shifts, sudden AS-path inflation, or regional blackholing. The product is intentionally narrow: it doesn’t try to replace full-stack observability or APM. Instead, it answers one painful question fast: “Is this outage us, our ISP, or global routing?” Alerts include plain-English impact summaries, affected regions/ASNs, and a minimal set of recommended actions (contact ISP, adjust announcements, enable RPKI, shift traffic). It’s a combination traditional + AI app: traditional data collection and rules, plus AI to generate incident narratives and ISP-ready tickets from evidence.
