BiasBet

BiasBet is a mobile + web AI app that turns personal beliefs into measurable predictions and then scores you on accuracy and calibration over time. Instead of vague journaling, users phrase beliefs as forecastable statements (e.g., “If I ask for feedback, my manager will react negatively”) with probabilities and time windows. The app nudges users to define what “counts” as evidence, logs outcomes, and generates a private “belief accuracy” dashboard showing overconfidence, confirmation bias patterns, and which contexts trigger distorted thinking. It also supports value-based commitments: users can link predictions to actions (e.g., “If I’m wrong, I will do X”) to encourage behavior change. This is not therapy and won’t replace it; it’s a self-tracking tool for people who want less self-deception and more reality-checking.
