BiasProof
BiasProof is a web app with optional Slack/Teams integration that inserts a lightweight “decision review” step into real work. Users paste a proposal, PRD, hiring feedback, incident postmortem, or meeting notes and the app flags likely cognitive biases (confirmation bias, sunk cost, availability, halo effect, etc.) with short, actionable prompts. It then generates a structured counter-check: what evidence would change your mind, what base rates apply, what alternatives were ignored, and what pre-mortem risks exist. The goal isn’t to lecture; it’s to produce a one-page decision record that teams can reuse and audit later. It also tracks outcomes over time so organizations can see which decision patterns correlate with misses, delays, or churn. This is an AI-assisted app, but it’s constrained: it asks targeted questions, cites the text it’s reacting to, and avoids pretending it “knows” the right answer.
