Users upload or forward bids, and the app extracts scope, materials, allowances, exclusions, payment schedule, and warranty terms into a single side-by-side view. It flags common risk patterns: vague scope, missing permit responsibility, front-loaded payments, no lien waivers, unrealistic timelines, and suspiciously low allowances. It also generates a “clarification checklist” to send back to each contractor and stores all documents in one project folder. Reality check: this won’t magically tell you who’s honest, and it can’t replace due diligence; it simply reduces confusion and prevents avoidable contract mistakes that cost thousands. Monetization: homeowner subscription per project or a one-time “bid review” fee, plus optional contractor lead/referral partnerships (carefully, to avoid trust issues).
