BidBrief is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps small vendors and government procurement teams reduce the chaos of RFPs and proposals. It ingests an RFP PDF/Word package, extracts requirements, deadlines, compliance items, and evaluation criteria, then generates a structured checklist and a “bid brief” summary. Vendors can map their existing boilerplate content to each requirement, track gaps, and export a compliant response outline. Agencies can publish a standardized requirement schema alongside the RFP and receive submissions in a consistent format, making evaluation faster and more transparent. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI handles document parsing, requirement extraction, and draft outlines; traditional workflows handle permissions, audit trails, and exports. The product lives or dies on accuracy, traceability, and defensible outputs, not flashy automation.
