BidRedactor

BidRedactor is a web app (with optional on-prem deployment) that helps defense procurement teams and vendors quickly produce compliant, shareable versions of proposals, contracts, and attachments by detecting and redacting sensitive content (CUI/ITAR/EAR/PII, pricing breakdowns, proprietary sections) while preserving structure and traceability. It generates a redaction log, applies consistent rules across document sets, and supports FOIA-ready exports and internal review workflows. This is an AI + traditional app: AI suggests redactions and classifications; humans approve with a tight review UI. Brutal reality: procurement orgs already have document tools, but redaction is still slow, inconsistent, and risky, and mistakes can trigger legal exposure or disqualify bids. The product must prioritize security, audit trails, and explainability over flashy AI, or it won’t pass security review.
