Bill2Barn

Bill2Barn is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps animal shelters, rescues, veterinarians, and advocacy groups track animal welfare legislation and translate it into practical compliance checklists. Users follow bills by jurisdiction, get plain-language summaries, and see what changes are required (recordkeeping, transport rules, housing standards, reporting). The app includes a “policy-to-operations” mapper that turns a bill’s key provisions into tasks, owners, and due dates, plus a lightweight evidence vault for storing SOPs, inspection reports, and training acknowledgements. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: AI assists with summarizing and extracting obligations, but humans can review and edit everything. Realistically, the hard part is data coverage and keeping it current; the product wins only if it’s reliably up-to-date in the jurisdictions users care about.
