BillBuffer is a mobile + web app that calculates your true “days of cash” and builds a realistic emergency plan around your fixed obligations. It connects to your bank via Plaid, identifies recurring bills (rent, utilities, debt, subscriptions), and simulates what happens if income stops today. You get a runway number, a prioritized cut list, and a weekly “stabilize” checklist: cancel/renegotiate targets, due-date shifts, hardship programs, and minimum-payment strategies. It also creates a one-page “financial emergency card” with key account contacts, autopay list, and what to pay first. Optional AI helps draft negotiation scripts and emails using your bill details, but the core value is accurate cashflow math and clear prioritization. This is not a budgeting app; it’s a short-horizon survival planner for financial shocks.
