BillOfImpact

BillOfImpact is a web app (with optional API) that generates lightweight, audit-ready life cycle assessment estimates from what companies already have: bills of materials, purchase orders, invoices, and supplier lists. Instead of pretending to be a full LCA suite, it focuses on “good-enough, defensible” product footprints for procurement and reporting deadlines. Users map line items to verified background datasets, apply region- and process-specific emission factors, and produce a transparent calculation trail with uncertainty ranges. The app flags the biggest drivers, missing data, and supplier-specific improvement opportunities, then exports results in formats compatible with common ESG reporting workflows. It also supports supplier data requests with structured templates and tracks response quality over time. This is realistic for mid-market manufacturers who can’t afford consultants for every SKU but still need credible numbers.
