BillShock

BillShock is a mobile + web app (traditional + AI) that forecasts “bill shock” months—times when utilities, insurance, rent, subscriptions, or debt payments jump and crush cash flow. Users connect bank accounts and bills (or forward invoices), then the app builds a rolling 90-day risk calendar with a simple “can I survive this month?” score. It recommends concrete actions: move due dates, negotiate plans, cancel or downgrade subscriptions, pre-fund a micro-buffer, or set up split-pay rules. The AI component classifies transactions, detects recurring-but-irregular bills (like quarterly insurance), and drafts negotiation scripts and emails. The app is brutally pragmatic: it won’t promise wealth; it focuses on avoiding overdrafts, late fees, and stress. Monetization is subscription plus optional affiliate revenue from bill negotiation partners—only if it demonstrably saves users money.
